2021 Fall Round Table Event New York, NY

Thirty Information Technology leaders from AEC firms across the country met in New York City on Oct 21st & 22nd to discuss current and future technology/business trends.

  • Vanessa Mesler from Microsoft introduced the group to their Power Platform suite of products to help industries create their own applications and workflows.

  • Lucas Hayden from Unanet joined us to cover their suite of applications for ERP/CRM and cover the latest topics in talent retention and data management.

  • Rob Otani of Thornton Tomasetti presented a member case study on Automation and AEC Data Flows displaying new software being developed by their in-house teams.

  • The group toured the 9/11 Memorial and relived the events thru the eyes of witnesses and survivors.  It was a truly moving experience.

  • Paul Renner of KPF presented a member case study on Nvidia’s Omniverse Metaverse software being utilized by their in-house teams.

  • Brett Yeager and Amit Kachhia-Patel from Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) introduced to our membership the means of how the bureau works with companies across the US and internationally to gather information and prosecute Ransomware crimes.

  • Michael Jansen of CityZenith exposed the group to Digital Twins technology and framework for the AEC industry’s interaction with the built environment.
